The mission of Carmel Middle School’s Counseling Department is to provide counseling-related services that are inclusive and available to all students. Counselors will collaborate with all educational stakeholders and align services with the School’s Improvement Plan in order to maximize the academic achievement, career development, and social-emotional well-being of all students.
School Counselors provide individual/short-term counseling, group counseling, classroom guidance, peer mediation and community resources. We will gladly schedule parent conferences with teachers if our presence is requested. If not, please contact the teachers directly. If you are requesting that a School Counselor see your child, please email the Counselor for that grade level. For questions about registration, parent portal or transportation, please contact our Registrar, Ms. McCauley ([email protected]). If requesting make-up work, please contact your child's teachers. If you are interested in School-Based Mental Health services through Family First Community Services, please email one of the Counselors for a referral. If you have questions about the agency or their services, please contact our assigned therapist, Corrine Harris. |
